Hello families!

I am very excited to be taking on the role of learning commons facilitator at École Agnes Davidson!  I have been fortunate to call Agnes Davidson my school for the last 4 years as an educational assistant and I am thrilled to continue to foster the relationships I have built for years to come.

I love reading and I love watching children talk about the books and characters that they love.

Watching a child struggle to put a book down because they just have to see what happens in the next chapter or the next page – is something that makes my heart smile.

My husband and I own and operate a 1600acre farm just south of Lethbridge and together we have a daughter and many pets.  I love sharing stories with students and staff of my adventures with my “pets”.  I have a menagerie of chickens and ducks.

I also enjoy spending time outdoors and going for walks with my dog.  I read any chance I get and I also enjoy crafting.

My vision for the learning commons at École Agnes Davidson is to create a space where all students feel loved, respected, and excited to come.  I hope to continue the wonderful work that our previous learning commons facilitator started and grow our Maker Space.  I strongly believe that students should be provided the opportunity to learn new skills in a variety of ways and should be encouraged to become critical thinkers and creators.

I look forward to getting to know our Agnes Davidson families more and please feel free to send me an email if you have any questions.
