Cubs to Kodiaks (Volleyball)
Registration for our next Cubs to Kodiaks “Introduction to Volleyball” session is now open. The sessions will take place on Friday nights. The 9U program will go from 4 to 5 PM and the 12U program will go from 5 to 6 PM. The first Friday will be January 17th. The program will be 8 weeks in length and the cost will be $170 plus GST Head coaches will be Chris Baxter and Tyra Pols. The program is already over 50% sold out, so register ASAP! Cubs to Kodiaks is an introduction to volleyball program run in partnership between the Lethbridge Volleyball Club and STARS Volleyball. The focus of STARS Volleyball is to teach the game of volleyball in a fun way to athletes from 6 to 12 years of age. The emphasis is on fundamental skill development with the help of modified rules and equipment.
STARS Volleyball's teaching philosophy is to emphasize the components of FUN, FAIR PLAY, and POSITIVE ATTITUDE, while the participant learns to play the game of volleyball.
STARS Volleyball uses a 6-1 player to coach ratio to ensure lots of feedback for each participant! Each participant will receive a STARS Volleyball/LVC Performance T-shirt.
